Weekly Update

Well it's been a week. It has been colder then cold lets say -degree almost every morning. On Tuesday night I was going back out to the truck in Broulims parking lot from seeing Tom and the pickup wouldn't start. It had lights but dim so I thought it was the battery, so I called Jo and told her that I wasn't going to be able to make it to their house since the truck wouldn't start. So bless their hearts even though they had home teachers coming Bart got on his coat and was heading out the door when their home teacher and wife pulled in. Bart and Brother Stewart came to Broulims to resuce me. Well it wasn't the battery at all it just clicked when trying to start it. Someone that knew bart and bro. Stewart said sometimes that the starter cylinder gets blocked so just to tap it. Well to top that off it was almost below 0 degrees so it was cold to be cold out. Bart then got under the truck and tapped the starter where the cylinder was but no luck. So after that I asked who is your mechanic because if I was in Rexburg I would know right where to tow it and that is Tri State Tire. Well we towed it down main street of Driggs to Sewells Auto Shop and left it there for the morning. Well the next day I called Bart to see if he had heard anything and Sam said worst case is that it was the flywheel (which to be honest I still don't know what that is, it is something that connects to the starter and the engine, which is costly) or it could be the starter. Well later that day thanks to Glenda Jo she texted me and said that as long as the part was in the part house then we would have the truck by 5 pm Wednesday (WOW that is fast) Thank goodness to prayers it was done and I was able to pick up the truck when I got off work on Wednesday night. Sam replaced the starter so that it good. Now I don't have to have Tom get up really early to take me to work so he can have the car to go to work. I also thank Heavenly Father not having a way serious problem such as the fly wheel wrong with the pickup. Thank Heavenly Father that I have good friends and especially family here in the Valley to help out in sticky situations. Well no worries I know that we can get through every trial that comes into our life.

Saturday Night

Well after Tom got home and after we had dinner and got ready for bed we played the wii and just had a fun last night with the kids. Pictures speak a thousand words.

Then Chris and Kassy thought that it would be cool to ride around in Chris Tonka Truck.

Then Kassy thought that being flipped over by Uncle Tom was the coolest thing and then Chris liked playing dead. Kassy had chocolate pudding on her nose. We had so much fun just being with them and having them over to our home.

Last Weekend January 16-18

Tom and I had the privilage to have my neices and nephew up for the weekend, because it has been a standing invitation with my older Sister Desire'e that I have her kids for the weekend before or after their anniversay. Well so I went to Rexburg after work on Friday and meet them to bring up to the Valley to our home. It was so much fun to have them here. On Saturday Kelty, Kassy and I was able to go snowmobling due to my Uncle Bart and Nathan allowing us to use his Snow machine. Here are some pictures of us having fun and yes my butt hurt so bad after we got down because my butt was in the middle of the tube hitting the ground. Chris didn't want to come because he wanted to stay in the house with my Aunt Jo and play with the horses and tractors of Nathan's. We went snowmaching in my grandma and grandpa's field behind their house.

Well the new year is come and it is already the 5th of January, how time flies. Most people have their christmas presents all put away and christmas decorations down by now but guess what I don't. It has been hard for me to put down the tree but I know that it will have to come down sometime so this week that is my goal. Also about new's year resolutions will be to keep living and improving myself each day. We didn't do too much for New Year's, we went over to my Aunt and Uncle's and played cards and the Wii. It was fun!!! Not much is going on here in our nexk of the woods but since I hadn't blogged I would at least try and do some blogging.

Our Haul from Christmas

Here are some of the things that received from Christmas.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

I know that it's after Christmas and it's the new Year but I just thought that I would share christmas with y'all. Tom and I had a wonderful time, we stayed in the Valley and went to my Aunt Val and Uncle James's house for Christmas Eve, we were suppose to go caroling but it was too cold and windy, so we just went to have soup and visit. It was fun and then we went up the road to Aunt Jo and Uncle Bart's house for Christmas Eve and Day. Here are some pictures from Christmas Day.

These next pictures are of Kelsey jumping in the box of wrapping paper to mash it down from all of us throwing it in there after we opened all the presents

These next pictures are of Kelsey and Melissa opening the Wii and games. Tom and I have a Wii and we have taken over to their house, my parents house, and Tom's sisters house and guess what all 3 of them bought the Wii for Christmas.

These are Sleeper PJ or pj with feet in them. Kelsey wanted a pair and that is so cool.
