Well the 4th of July is over and done and like some of my co-workers have said that once the July 4th is gone then it just goes down hill from here for winter to come. Which I don't think so. I love the winter time and the snow but I love the summer too. It was a different 4th of July for Tom and I because for the past 9 years I have worked with Dave my cousin in the TNT Firework booth and Tom has been the last 3 years. Well he had all the help with the Fireworks this year so I spent it at home in Victor, Idaho. I ended up bringing my brother back with me on Friday night and then my parents came up Saturday night and we had a BBQ with my Aunt LaRue and uncle Franics. It was fun sorry no pictures of that night. We were able to watch the fireworks from all around us. Then we shot off some of our own fireworks. Well that was our 4th not too exciting. We have been just working and working.
In about 6 days Nate will be home from his mission. YEAH it is so exciting to see him. I can't believe that it has been 2 years, where has it gone. When life gets busy it goes by fast. I have learned from things in life to not take it for granted because you never know what might happen. Life is too short to pass by things such as family and friends. Love those around you despite the differences you may have. Cherish every moment even if it is small.

I can't even remember what a normal 4th is like! Our poor kids were so tired this year that they fell asleep before the rodeo fireworks. So, our tradition of watching from the tent didn't play out. We'll probably light fireworks off at our house in a couple of weeks. Maybe that'll make up for missing them on the 4th.
