Camping and a wonderful Weekend

Well back from a weekend of camping with most of my family. As we came back on saturday we were able to witness my parents long time neighbors house that they sold to pro rental, go up in flames.  More pictures and more information to come later..

A New Week and a Full Last Week

Monday's oh wait It's Tuesday after a holiday.  It was so crazy and crazy.  I just spent a whole week doing fireworks and it was fun, exciting and amazing.  Most of the time I was at the Broulims TNT Stand.  One night my cousin Lissa and I was caught in that horrible thunder, lightening storm.  It was so cool and crazy but so scary.  I didnt' get pictures while I was working but thought about it but forgot the camera.  It was so hard to be away from my hubby for a whole week, well it wasn't the whole week Tom was there all day Wedensday and then was able to be there Saturday night.  Yeah I was so excited to see him.  Saturday was so busy and so long, the parade was long and where did all the floats go.  It was just a bunch of advertisements for business and of course the marching bands from madison and sugar.  Yeah that is what makes parades along with floats.  On Monday my sisters (expect for Desiree), my mom and I was able to have time to visit with Ila (Clark) Potter.  It was nice to just talk and see how she is doing.  Her and her husband Henry and Kyle came for a visit all the way from Texas.  I am amazed of how well Ila is getting along with her MS and how strong she is.   I could only imagine what it must me like having a struggle each and everyday with not being able to really function.  It just has reminded me that no matter what we may be struggling with whether it be a physical, mental or even emotional that we can get through it with a strong willing heart, mind and strength.  Then my husband and I was able to come home to our bed and home.  Yeah.  Hope everyone has a great week.

Sore Muscles, sore feet, sun burnt faces welcome to Summer

Today I had the oppourtunity to play on a summer softball team. We played 3 games loss 1 won 1 loss 1, by then I was tired and so was the rest of the team. I really thought I was in shape but boy was I wrong, but I am going to keep up and hopefully by the end of summer we will see some results not only me being in shape but also playing softball again. It's been a few long years since I actually have been on a team.

Thursday was our first practice and I thought I was hurting then, where is the jetted tub or even Green Canyon Hot Springs now.  Sore Muscles, sore feet, sun burnt faces, but way fun. 

We pretty much play tuesday, wednesday or thursday nights up at the driggs city park or lyons park.  Yeah summer is finally here and the sun is shining and life is not miserable and cold from all the rain.  Have a great summer
